No Clown Rods
What is a Clown Rod? You know you have a Clown Rod when it looks like you had a giant magnet attached to your vehicle as you drove through the local junkyard and permanently welded anything that stuck to the car. OTHER definitions of Clown Rod – Vehicles that look like a skeleton, pumpkin, or any other non auto related items. These are not traditional hot rods. Further definition of Clown Rod – Rats that are attached to vehicles are considered Clown Rods. Anything that is attached to the vehicle that is intended to shock or have comedic value will wind up being considered a Clown Rod. Vehicles in rust, primer, or survivor paint are WELCOME, and encouraged, as long as they do not fall into the “Clown Rod” category as described above.
If you think your car, bike, truck or motorcycle qualifies for the show, send us an email with photos with all the details about your car.
No Silly Modern Wheels (Must be 16″ and under only).

Traditional looking choppers and bobbers ONLY! (No modern West Coast Choppers, OCC style bikes)
Traditional styled lowriders up to 1972

No high tech styled, pastel heart beat graphic, tweed interior, fender-less IFS sporting hot rods
F.A.Q.s
What is “traditional” style?
If you don’t know what a 50’s and 60’s styled hot rod or custom is, refer to the rules or you can also refer to hot rodding magazines from the 50’s and 60’s.
Is Greaserama a “Rat Rod” show?
No. Absolutely not!
My car is painted and has chrome, can I bring it to the show?
Yes. The past was not black and white, nor was it dull.
I have a fiberglass body car, can I bring it to the show?
Yes.
I have a post-1964 car/truck that has the same body style as the 1964 and prior model, can I bring it to the show?
Yes. A good example of this would be a 1965 Falcon or Nova. They had the same body style in 1964 and 1965, and all of those model years are welcome at the show as long as they are traditionally styled.
My car has an LS engine. Can I bring it?
As long as the rest of the car is traditional looking, yes. Just leave the hood shut. We still want to capture the vibe of the ‘60s.
Why do you hate Billet parts?
We don’t. Greaserama is for 50’s and 60’s styled hot rods and customs.
I’m going to try and sneak in a car that does not fit the rules of the show!
While we appreciate the enthusiasm for bringing your ride to Greaserama, please don’t. You will be turned away at the gate. You are welcome to come as a spectator, but your car will have to stay in spectator parking and will not be allowed through the show gate.
I went to Greaserama and saw a car that I don’t think should have been in the show.
Relax. It’s just a car show. Occasionally one or two cars that don’t belong in the show slide past the screening process. It does not mean that you can also bring in your unqualified car to the show.
What can I expect at Greaserama?
Live music, food, alcohol, vendors, tons of traditional rods and customs, and one helluva good time.
Can I bring my dog to the show?
Unfortunately, our insurance does not allow any animals on the fairgrounds. ABSOLUTELY NO PETS!
